A slice of Hope through the fog life brings

Psalm 23... This Psalm is a well known one, although personally I didn't really understand why until this year. And wow!! What a moment of realisation it has been. Verse by verse, bit by bit, explaining the good shepard, and all he does for us. Hallelujah. Let's look into it. (verse 1)  The  Lord  is my shepherd, I lack nothing . Can you think of a time (or maybe plural 'times' ) when God provided a need in such a way, it brought awe to your heart and mind. What a truly amazing feeling right! Let me share a couple that come to my mind.  It was a normal day, I was just at home with my family. Because this particular day was sunny I decided to clear out my car and give it a good hoover. The hoover we had wasn't great; to put it blunt... it was rubbish. But I put up with it because we didn't have the money to buy a new one. During the hoovering I spoke out loud to God and said "Father I need a hoover that's not rubbish". Once those words left my mouth...

Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus christ is in US. The bible verse Corinthians 13 verse 5 is life changing. Ask yourself, do you see this as a metaphor or real life truth. That our saviour dwells within us. Often when we read the bible, we plough through bible verses and many slip through our minds without us seeing the bigger picture. I don't about you, but speaking on a personal level, I could read something 99 times, yet on the 100th time, that's when the light bulb moment happens. Whether that being one verse or verses stands out to you, speaking volumes In your life, or God is showing you a deeper revelation of what it means. Both those moments are spectacular. Hi everyone. Do you ever find God speaking to you through a song? Giving you a revelation that fills you with his outstanding joy. Aren't those moments precious? Recently I had one of those precious moments. While listening to the song 'Lost in wonder' type it in the YouTube and soak in the words. I recommend it. That song is a precious reminder of the beauty that is the cross. What are your thoughts when you think of the cross? Honestly I would love to hear your perspective.
