weaknesses isn't the end, just the beginning!

Then Moses answered, “But behold, they will not believe me or listen to my voice, for they will say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you.’” The Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A staff.” And he said, “Throw it on the ground.” So he threw it on the ground, and it became a serpent, and Moses ran from it. But the Lord said to Moses, “Put out your hand and catch it by the tail”—so he put out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand— “that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.” Again, the Lord said to him, “Put your hand inside your cloak.” And he put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous like snow. Then God said, “Put your hand back inside your cloak.” So he put his hand back inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, it was restored like the rest of his flesh. “If they will not believe you,” God said, “...

Expose him for who he really is!

(Before you read any further, please bare in mind this blog post isn't to put the devil on a pedestal but in hopes to achieve a better understanding to who he is and how he creeps into our lives) Let's begin by getting an understanding of who he is From lucifer to the devil   Isaiah 14:12‭-‬19 NKJV “ How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. “Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, Who made the world as a wilderness And destroyed its cities, Who did not open the house o...

The good shepard

Psalm 23... This Psalm is a well known one, although personally I didn't really understand why until this year. And wow!! What a moment of realisation it has been. Verse by verse, bit by bit, explaining the good shepard, and all he does for us. Hallelujah. Let's look into it. (verse 1)  The  Lord  is my shepherd, I lack nothing . Can you think of a time (or maybe plural 'times' ) when God provided a need in such a way, it brought awe to your heart and mind. What a truly amazing feeling right! Let me share a couple that come to my mind.  It was a normal day, I was just at home with my family. Because this particular day was sunny I decided to clear out my car and give it a good hoover. The hoover we had wasn't great; to put it blunt... it was rubbish. But I put up with it because we didn't have the money to buy a new one. During the hoovering I spoke out loud to God and said "Father I need a hoover that's not rubbish". Once those words left my mouth...

Why are you persecuting me

Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus christ is in US. The bible verse Corinthians 13 verse 5 is life changing. Ask yourself, do you see this as a metaphor or real life truth. That our saviour dwells within us. Often when we read the bible, we plough through bible verses and many slip through our minds without us seeing the bigger picture. I don't about you, but speaking on a personal level, I could read something 99 times, yet on the 100th time, that's when the light bulb moment happens. Whether that being one verse or verses stands out to you, speaking volumes In your life, or God is showing you a deeper revelation of what it means. Both those moments are spectacular. Bare this in mind for the greater purpose of this blog. The road the Demascus After Jesus had died, was buried, rose again and ascended to heaven. His disciples just couldn't stop talking about him. Everything they've witnessed from when Jesus first called them to follow, right up to his res...

the man on the cross

Hi everyone. Do you ever find God speaking to you through a song? Giving you a revelation that fills you with his outstanding joy. Aren't those moments precious? Recently I had one of those precious moments. While listening to the song 'Lost in wonder' type it in the YouTube and soak in the words. I recommend it. That song is a precious reminder of the beauty that is the cross. What are your thoughts when you think of the cross? Honestly I would love to hear your perspective. This is what came to me.  Two angles 1: Gods work 2: Overwhelming pain of the cross Gods work  When I was younger I never really dug deep into the work God did. I mean truly ponder on it. What exactly does God do?. I knew in my heart that he knows all and sees all. But how many of us can truly grasp what that entails. I can honestly say I didn't give it a moments thought until my eyes were open to the biblical detail of what God does. You see I was reading my way through the book Job (which to thos...

He will crumble...

God can and will speak to you through many scenarios. In my case, it was through a film . What happens . The particular Jurassic park movie I want to relate to is Jurassic world. On a Friday my husband has a zoom meeting with some of his friends, and ever since he started doing this I've sat in the same room drawing. This particular Friday I was so ready to draw, yet while waiting for my youngest to go to sleep, God encouraged me to watch Jurassic world again (baring in mind i had just watched it a few days before). Naturally I was confused. Why is God asking me to watch a dinosaur movie? Instead of a faith based movie...  Am i that tired that I'm confusing Gods wants to what i like?. #it felt rather strange if I'm honest, but the nudging in me only got stronger, that, that was the film I was to watch. I wasn't going to complain as I just love watching all the Jurassic Park movies. Yet the part that that struck me and blew me away, wasn't till the end of the movie. ...

Unsinkable faith!

Matthew 14:25-32 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." "Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." "come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came towards Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith l," he said "why did you doubt?" And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. A bit of my story Have you ever found yourself in the middle of a storm and looking around all you see in chaos and no way out. Maybe like the disciples you thought you were never going to see the e...
