The silent but loud
The unknown battles..
Have you ever noticed that random things happen in the most random of places. What I mean is, you wake up and go about your morning routine to get ready for the day ahead. Whether that be outside doing something in public or your daily jobs at home. When all the sudden your hit with a strange feeling. Your not sure why you feel this way, or where it even came from. But it weighs heavily on you. Troubles you. More or less takes over your day. Ever get those? I can't be the only one. I know I am not the only one. I never understood it years ago, they bothered me so much because they usually brought me to silence and I couldn't come out with conversation towards others because I couldn't get my mind off of what I was feeling. It wasn't till I was once told to pray when they occurred and allow God to deal with whatever it was, that I realised the importance of these silent yet loud battles. I truly believe that, even though we aren't aware of it we are all connected through the Holy spirit. For example when we are facing our trials and challenges, storms of every size that bring us to a halt. I truly believe God sends the Holy spirit all over the world to get his prayer warriors praying in tounges for fellow brothers and sisters. Though we may not know why we are feeling that strange feeling or know what we are praying, the holy spirit is fully aware of what is needed and why we were given that request to pray.
Romans 8:26
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
Prayer is a powerful weapon, one to which the enemy stands no chance against. That is why he tries so hard to stop us from praying. By distracting us with our problems and situation around us, or things to satisfy us for only that moment,. We at times take our minds off Jesus. But don't wallow in guilt christ died so we can be set free from all that tares us down. Once we noticed our distractions we can just set it right and get back on track. You can do it.
I read a book called out of the black shadows, it is a testimony book,. And in this book towards the end, the guys the book is about is preaching, meanwhile in the congregation amongst all the people are two ladies that have a revelation from God. God shows these ladies that the man standing at the front preaching was the person they were praying for all those years ago when they too were going about their business and the holy spirit put a silent but loud feeling on them to pray. And pray they did. What did it achieve, well not only did it save the boys life, but it was a tool used to save his eternal life which brought him further along his race in life to where he was the night he preached at that very church they were attending. God is good. We may never understand what goes on in life, we may never realise God is or has just used us. But if you ever come across a time with a heaviness to pray, or are confused with a random feeling that has placed itself on you, pray. God will work his wonders into the situation you are praying into. You good and faithful servant. Keep up the good work.
Ephesians 6:18
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Let's pray
Father thank you for the gift of prayer, thank you for wanting to use us as part of your master plan for this planet. Help us to notice when to pray and not leave it till later on when we could easily forget later on. Help us draw near to you and the sensitivity of your holy spirit so we can respond promptly in prayer to when we are needed and handed the strange silent but loud feelings for which our brothers and sisters around the world need prayer for. In your name we pray amen.
