What's the point in Jesus if?

Image
Passion doesn't quite cover it As a child this bible verse was just something you had to learn in Sunday school, I never really gave it much thought. But growing up and mostly progressing over the last few years this bible verse has become the core of my thoughts, the core of my passion, and what I believe to be the core of God's words as he guides me. Over the years, I'm one of those people that like to observe Gods masterpieces. In other words I love taking in the different ways in which God has made so many different people. I find it fascinating how there can be billions upon billions of us around the world yet we all look, act, see, process, develop differently. Our DNA is unique to our individual bodies. Wonderful don't you think. But we as humans have a problem with the blame game. We like to see our wrong doing as nothing compared to the next person. We plant ourselves on a hierarchy. It's ok I'm good compared to him or her, I've done noth...

life! God is in control..

Image
God is in Control   Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror, or just generally pondered on your life and wondered who you are? What's your purpose supposed to be? where is my life going? maybe why me? Then on the other hand so to speak, read the bible and the things it says about how God sees us and his purpose and will; and thought how do I connect these two things together? Is it possible, for someone like me to achieve the incredible things the bible speaks on? kind of like that picture, we see ourselves as the little kitten but God sees a tiger just waiting to be released. All we got to do is believe in Gods capability to take control of our lives and work everything out. It's easier said than done at times don't you think. Think about it; what's the hardest thing you've had to face? how did God get you through that? what kind of a person did that strengthen you to be? What was the lesson you learn...

Getting your oxygen

Image
Hey all. Today I just want to talk about getting your oxygen in the overwhelming situations in life. Be blessed.   I don't know about you but life has a funny habit of getting on top of us, wouldn't you agree. Everyone is busy, we all have tasks we need to achieve before the day is out. For example, I'm a mom, I have 3 beautiful girls and another one on the way. So life for me is always on the go, from making sure they are dressed and prepared for their day to making sure the house is tidy to achieving whatever God wants me to do, to collecting the girls from schools, feeding, entertaining, homework (if they get some) washing, getting ready for bed and so on. I'm sure you moms and dads out there would agree looking after Gods little miracles is never ending. Even for those of us that take care of a family member or even caring for a complete stranger, in all there is a lot of tasks to fit into one day. I'm not complaining, I absolutely adore my wonde...

It's so easy to get caught up in it all....

What did he do for me? I remember my first time watching passion of Christ. Didn't really apprehend what I was about to watch. I knew I was about the watch what Jesus did, but I didn't grasp I was about to watch exactly what Jesus did for me all those years ago. I remember feeling horrified, right when the film finished I fell to the floor weeping and weeping, with a sorrowful pain, asking why? why? why? I had never felt anything like it before in my life. It's one thing hearing about the death of Jesus but reaping the reality of it from a film of all things was a whole new world to me. It sure was a penny dropping moment. The death of our savior is a beautiful story even if it has graphic images. The disgusting behavior of how he was treated, spoken too and killed all for the sake of mankind. But because he drank from the cup of God's will and took on his shoulders the punishment meant for mankind, we are set free. We are forgiven. We are washed clean. When we accep...

saved by his blood

Image
Hey all. God has been bringing back to my mind the image he showed me during my time at faith camp. So todays blog will be based on the image and it's wonders. Be blessed. Many times the devil likes to make us feel guilty and ashamed by the mistakes we make during our lifetime. Sound familiar. He likes to play the remember game, planting thoughts into our minds, thoughts of the past, present and maybe even fear of the future. Lots of scenarios come back and forth into the mind. Does that happen with you. It sure is his tactic with me. But im slowly getting to the point of recognising it and stopping it straight away. Thank you Lord for your precious help. Maybe there was a reaction and you lost control, or maybe something took place and you heard it second hand which lead you to go over it in your mind and in reality it turns out to be a misunderstanding. You end up feeling silly because you got angry for no reason. Has that ever happened to you. Surely has happened to me many of...

come to the water, all you who are thirsty🎵

Image
Come to the water, all who are thirsty, come and see🎵 Have you ever found yourself in a situation that can only be described as a drought. A dry spell. Where everything around you doesn't make sense, you don't like your job. You find it hard to connect with God, your problems are blocking your view and relationships around you maybe falling apart. You feel so alone. Angry. Fed up. Kind of like you on a train track of life but there are no stations in sight. Does that make any sense to you. It can be difficult to focus on the Lord when your mind in compacted with what's going on or whose hurt you or something youve heard and its digging itself deep inside your brain. We all face these kinds of situations, where God can feel a million miles away. When really he's right there next to us and all we got to do is turn and talk to him.  On the other hand ✋ have you ever been so involved in the presence of God that everything around you seems to have muted itse...

up the mountain

Image
Hello everyone. I pray you are well. Have you ever climbed a mountain? My husband and I along with a friend and my brother all did the 3 peaks to raise some money. What a disaster of a day. It felt like everything was against me that day, granted some of it was my fault. You see i had a bit to much to drink the night before at our engagement party, we barely slept so i was very tired, tore a ligament in my anckle going down the first mountain, we left the food in the car and it was my time of the month. Which for me means on the first day of my period i'm always feeling ill. So all that was against me during our big adventure. Despite all that i was excited to try it out, little did i know the air gets thinner the higher you go. So i struggled to breath. And the cherry of the cake was that was the day i realised how scared of heights i really was, when we reach the top of the mountain my whole body was shaking uncontrollably. Oh yes a lot of fun and games that was, of c...

As Joy comes

Image
Hey all. I pray you are well. As I asked God what I could talk about as it's been a while since my last blog. He reminded me of what happened at faith camp. For those who don't know, Kindgom faith camp is a Christian camping experience they do every year in Peterborough (UK) for one week. It is basically church every day twice a day, followed with various seminars, and activities. Even the children have there own aged church. We decided to go this year, it was our first time, and we were blown away. Even our children wanted to go back, and that's saying something. One thing I desired was that our children would enjoy a church event. Anyway, during faith camp, after the speaker had said what God had placed on his heart. He asked the whole congregation to stand up. So we did, and he encouraged us to cast out any spirits that don't belong to God. The spirit of religion, the spirit of firmiliarity, the devil's minions and so on. He said a prayer out loud so you coul...

Will we still love him?

Image
It's so easy to love something or someone when things are going well. Don't you think. Your child, draws you a picture, achieves a milestone, it fills you up with fuzzy feelings of pure love. Maybe your married and your spouse just fills you with laughter and love, and despite all the annoying things, he/she does something that makes you have a butterfly feeling in your stomach. There are so many things out there that make us feel loved and we just want to give out love too. Nothing wrong with that. Praise God. After all he created us. He is love. what about when someone gets hurt, something gets stolen, Or something we desire more than anything and God says no. Us humans don't always do well with the word no. To a lot of people if not everyone (don't quote me, there maybe some find it easy to accept the word no) the word no kick starts a rebellion in us. Don't do this. Don't see them. Don't take that. Don't buy that. Don't marry them. Your not ...

He doesn't want you to succeed

Knowing the enemy’s tactics in your life. Ephesians 6:11 Verse Concepts Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Let's take a look at the life of our saviour Jesus. When he was born Satan used herod to become jealous and he tried to get Jesus killed. As soon as jesus was born again (baptised) Satan again swoops in to tear him down by tempted him when he is at his weakest. But Jesus stood his ground in faith of the heavenly Father and in keeping himself focused on the very purpose for which he came to earth. Satan even used scripture to persuade Jesus but nothing took him from the focus of our heavenly Father. Instead jesus used his authority and Satan fled. Jesus in these times is showing us that even at our weakest point where we feel we have nothing left, it's then God is at his strongest and will bring us out. In all reality if the enemy couldn't keep himself from trying to tear down and rule the s...

When's jesus coming out of the box?

Image
I don't fit in your box -God We all have a schedule. We all have routines. Humanity is very busy. Which often means God gets put in a box. Sometimes without knowing we've done so. I've seen too many times people looking at their watches, people complaining that something went on too long. People being told to keep the worship short. COME ON. What!!! Can't we see what the enemy is doing. He doesn't want us to worship God, he doesn't want us to bring glory to his name. He doesn't want us to invest our time and energy into the Creator of all life. Why because when we do powerful and miraculous things take place. I spoke in my last blog about how powerful we are in the name of jesus (if you missed it go check it out, bless you) I'm serious. My bones, my inner core, my soul, my all is burning with passion of these two subjects. 1. the power of the name of jesus and 2. God can't be in a box.  When Jesus died on the cross He didn't look at ...

There is power in the name of Jesus

Image
There is power in the name and being of Jesus. Believe it. Recieve it. Walk in it. Do you know you are a threat to the enemy. He knows there is power in Jesus and he knows we have access to this power. He is fully aware we are/can be if we embrace Christ, powerful people. Once we stop running away due to fear of some kind and embrace who God made us to be and take on board our Christ like authority. Anything is possible. JESUS said you will do great things than he did. And you got to admit what Jesus did was incredible. Our enemy is fully aware of what God is capable of achieving through us, after all God made him, he was once very much apart of Gods design. But it wasn't enough so he tried to over run God. Which of course got him kicked out of heaven along with the angels who followed his way. So the enemy is very much aware of how powerful you can be when the Holy Spirit is working through you. That is why he tries everything in his power to make us fear, make us worry abou...

will you 'pray' the price

wrestling with God.... Do you ever feel this way. Do you ever find yourself having a paddy, asking God the who what where when or why sort of questions. why is this happening? what on earth is going on? where am I supposed to go? what did I do to deserve this? and many more questions go through the mind when we are angry. Someone once asked me if it's a sin to be angry with God. I said why would that be a sin. Anger isn't a sin it's what you do with that anger that becomes a sin...  Ephesians 4:26 Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry—but don’t use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don’t stay angry. Don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the Devil that kind of foothold in your life. God is bigger enough to hold the universe in the palm of his hands so our emotions are not going to damage him. His hearts desire is to hear you share what's going on inside you. Even though he is fully aware of everything he is also fond of viewing the world through our e...
