There for me till the end


Saved by grace!

Our heavenly Father is truly wonderful. Doesn't always make sense though does he, but he does pull through on what he promises. His love for us extends beyond any of our flaws, weaknesses, opinions and choices. As we love and take care of our loved ones he too looks after us and loves us with a limitless love. And through our choices and opinions he knows our hearts and guides us through our situations.

Testimony...
Me and my husband got married almost 6 years ago. For our honeymoon we went to Crete for a week. During this week an argument spiralled out of control. I tried to get some space and went to the balcony to cool off but because we were newly weds we were still to learn how to be and live with each other. So my husband followed me to the balcony. rookie mistake. you see at the time God was working through a lot of anger and insecurity of the opposite sex in me. So me being full of rage and my husband not giving me space, I reacted by pushing my husband out of my space. Now you see the balcony was very small, probably the size of 2 people sitting downs on a chair and it's full, you could maybe push it at 3 depending on the chair itself. So when I pushed him, he went back over the banister and according to science he should of tumbled to the ground and died, but something pushed him back over so he was back on his feet on the balcony. I couldn't see what pushed him back clear like you see humans, but there was no mistaking something was there to push him back over. praise God.

Now you see I was thankful for God saving Bens life but it has taken all this time to see a much wider view of the picture. I had a revelation of that moment the other day. The revelation was that I thought God was saving my husband, which of course he was but looking from a wider view point God used my husband to help me see that God protected me from a foreign prison and a marked record for life, because of my anger. Thankfully because God protected me from this action and saved my husbands life, three beautiful girls came into our world, and a much stronger bond formed between us both. So the point I'm getting at is when God says he has this, he has your back, or/and trust him. You can for sure trust him.

Father God in heaven thank you for today, and your mighty hand over my life. thank you for caring for me and creating me on purpose for a purpose. it is so awesome that I don't need to earn your attention. I don't need to get loads of degrees and medals for you to turn and look. you take me as I am and accept me. help me embrace your true love for me, and wash any fear of your fatherhood I may have so I can trust in you knowing that you do have my back. and you do care for me regardless to what the world and those init think of me. in Jesus name amen.

Unbroken promise

 Hi everyone I know it's been a while since my last blog entry, you see God has taken me and my family through quite the rollercoaster. For a while I had writers block. I had no idea what to say but tonight while trying to sleep, I had a overwhelming sense to talk about the promises of God. I'm not going to start talking about the promises written in the bible all though each one is valid, beautiful and true on their own. What's on my heart are the unsung promises. You know, those you've been waiting for so long to come to pass. The ones where you could so easily just give up on. Them ones. But the giant, daunting hurdle that was the be all or end all in the process, that's done and dusted. It's eternity not just sundays

  Have you ever built a lego sculpture? I have, in fact I did recently. A titanic ship and a army war plane. I fully enjoyed this activity and would go as far as saying it's becoming a hobby. But I haven't done this post to talk about Lego, although it is how God chose to get a message across to me.  You see, building a Lego sculpture requires a lot of Lego bricks. From tiny squares to long rectangular one. All shapes and sizes are involved in the making of a beautiful masterpiece. The end result is very rewarding. Each intricate detail that are put together, every block, every pain staking moment getting the tiny delicate pieces together without accidentally breaking the whole thing; requires time, patience and effort. God is the builder in our lives. When we invite him into our lives he works with us, building on a new foundation that is in Christ Jesus. strength will rise!

Have you ever found yourself in the waiting zone of Gods plan to unfold in your life. Knowing in your heart that God has instructed you, of what is to come, what he wants to do in and through your life or what changes will unfold in your life. Yet in your mind all you see and understand is the chaos that is the reality of your surroundings. Does this bring some memories or maybe it's even a reality now for you. It sure was for my family. I know in my heart God is faithful, he always provides, his blessings are profound, his love endures forever and is always on display (I see his love in the form of a heart shape, I'll find that in the most random places yet each time it has the most significant effect on me; it's just beautiful)  so why do we find waiting around it's so exhausting?
