viper's verses the fire of God

Hello everyone. Are you familiar with the section in the bible where Paul gets bitten by a snake and the locals are sure he must have committed a serious crime because he's been bitten and about to die. But instead of dying he just shrugs it off and shakes the viper into the fire in faith that God will spare his life. and indeed he doesn't die. Praise God. Here the bible verses to jog your memory. (Acts 28: 1-6)

Paul on the Island of Malta

28 Once we were safe on shore, we learned that we were on the island of Malta. 2 The people of the island were very kind to us. It was cold and rainy, so they built a fire on the shore to welcome us.
3 As Paul gathered an armful of sticks and was laying them on the fire, a poisonous snake, driven out by the heat, bit him on the hand. 4 The people of the island saw it hanging from his hand and said to each other, “A murderer, no doubt! Though he escaped the sea, justice will not permit him to live.” 5 But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed.6 The people waited for him to swell up or suddenly drop dead. But when they had waited a long time and saw that he wasn’t harmed, they changed their minds and decided he was a god.

wow can you imagine being bitten and just shaking it off like wafting a fly away. Praise God. Though I'm sure God can still do that miracle today. We can look at this story and apply it to our life. How. Well those snakes are the very tools the enemy using to destroy us or even kill us. For example; depression, anger, trauma, addiction, hurt, negative labels that's been placed on us throughout life like your stupid, your ugly and so on. Life is full of baggage that we carry sometimes without realising. It takes God to help up unravel the layers of baggage that hold us back. But you are in safe hands. He will not stop with you until he has completed what he started. Praise God. 

Our enemy would love to see us sink to rock bottom. Or even to the point of taking your own life. He gets a kick out it. like a drug, seeing us far from God gives him a high. It's his main mission to take down as many people as he can. He knows he has no hope and he is doomed for the abyss for all eternity. And he doesn't what God to win the heart and souls of the people on this planet. so mission destruction is a go and will be till the day of jesus return. No person truly likes seeing someone being killed and made to suffer. In some way they are effected. It doesn't always seem that way, we do hear about heartless people, but we as humans are better at acting than we think. We become masters at bottling things up. But God who made us knows our hearts. 

So.. Let's do a prophetic act in faith today. Like Paul did, he knew God wasn't finished with him, because when God promises something or says this is what i have planned for your life, nothing can stop you until it's done. He needed to go to Rome and testify in the courts. So let's shake of those nasty vipers that have clung onto you over the years, months, days. Imagine there's a fire, gods holy fire in front of you. Ask God to start revealing the baggage you have and with the authority given to you by Jesus shake it off in Jesus name. Then stand in faith that they have gone. Pray for the Holy Spirit to replace any holes so to speak that the baggage left behind. Don't be afraid the bible is true today as it was 2000 years ago. Or even 5000 years ago. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He loves you. 

Let's pray
Father God. I pray against depression, I pray against anger, I pray against any trauma, any pain both physical and emotional that the person reading this may have gone through. Father I ask that as they do the prophetic act and shake those nasty vipers into your fire. God that they will feel a sense of release and know that you will take care of them and never stop loving them. Father I ask for the Holy Spirit to fill them a new. Fill them to over flowing so as they go out into their village, town, city, or country side they will be infectious to their locals. and people will see something different about them, even if they already do they will still see something else. You, but on a bigger scale. Oh Lord I think you for their lives Father I thank you for the purpose you have planned for them. in Jesus name amen.

Unbroken promise

 Hi everyone I know it's been a while since my last blog entry, you see God has taken me and my family through quite the rollercoaster. For a while I had writers block. It's eternity not just sundays

  Have you ever built a lego sculpture? I have, in fact I did recently. A titanic ship and a army war plane. I fully enjoyed this activity and would go as far as saying it's becoming a hobby. But I haven't done this post to talk about Lego, although it is how God chose to get a message across to me.  You see, building a Lego sculpture requires a lot of Lego bricks. From tiny squares to long rectangular one. All shapes and sizes are involved in the making of a beautiful masterpiece. The end result is very rewarding. Each intricate detail that are put together, every block, every pain staking moment getting the tiny delicate pieces together without accidentally breaking the whole thing; requires time, patience and effort. God is the builder in our lives. When we invite him into our lives he works with us, building on a new foundation that is in Christ Jesus. Have you ever found yourself in the waiting zone of Gods plan to unfold in your life. Knowing in your heart that God has instructed you, of what is to come, what he wants to do in and through your life or what changes will unfold in your life. Yet in your mind all you see and understand is the chaos that is the reality of your surroundings. Does this bring some memories or maybe it's even a reality now for you. It sure was for my family.
