God guides God provides
Good morning all, today I want to talk about Gods provision and how despite everything going off in our lives God never fails to provide our needs.
Here's abit of my little families story, I hope it encourages you. We originally lived in West Yorkshire, in a little town called Knottingley. For 2 years we felt from deep within that we were meant for some where else. That God was going to move us on. But we couldn't understand where or how as we couldn't afford a move. My husband applied for jobs all over the world, pushing the boat out so to say and trusting that God will bring the right job into position. First off he got an interview in Wales, though it went well he didn't get the job. Which disheartened us because we knew our time in Knottingley had come to an end. But on the plus side it did prepare him for what was to come next. My husband also got another job interview in Cambridge. It went really well and he got a called back then a job offer. Such excitement came over us. But a mountain was put in our path way. That mountain was it is impossible to get a house in oakington (where we live now) to which was proving true. We found houses all over the surrounding villages but not in oakington. But the church hiring Ben wanted him living in the village. Let's pause there and let me bring a point, during the second interview we had a tour around the village school. During this tour an overwelming peace came over me, a peace to which I've never felt before. So when we couldn't find a house in the village it made a knot in my stomach, I kept saying to my husband amelia (our oldest daughter) is going to that village school I know this because of that peace, a house has to come up. But it wasn't happening, and time was getting closer to September. I started panicking because amelia needed to start her first year in school. I couldn't sleep one night because my spirit was being nudged to read my bible plan that I'd missed. But my flesh wanted to sleep. So I got my phone to read it and as I did inside it said God guides God provides. This lit the confidence in me. I knew I had to hold onto that promise. 2 weeks before our contract in the rented house we were living in terminated and 3 weeks before Ben had to start the job (talk about being nervous but still holding onto God guides God provides) my husband recieve an email saying his dbs check cleared. And as soon as he read it, God nudged his spirit to go on the housing website, and low and behold a house in oakington pop up that very moment. (It had only been uploaded that day) but our dilemma was we didn't have money to drive down and see it. So Ben got hold of the agency which said we needed to see it we couldn't just say we wanted it. They said we need to have someone come see it. Ben got hold of one of the ladies helping to get the ball rolling for the job, and she dropped everything and went to see it. She immediately put our name forward. Yet again we were struck with another obstacle, we weren't the only ones to offer; three other to parties had offered a higher price then us, we could only offer the asking price. As we prayed God just just reminded us of the phrase God guides God provides. And praise jesus we got the house. And everything after that money for up front rent to house hold goods to help financially to move fell into place. Boom boom boom. We were in awe. Even though you know the bible says God will provide, when it happens especially to something so big as moving it's so breath taking.
I hope this encourages you, you may already have experienced gods provision in many different ways whether big or small. God is good. I would love to hear your story. You may even be in the beginning of the process, and Gods just given you the vision, job, project etc. And immediately the enemy is filling your mind with doubt, anxiety, fear etc. Prayer is a powerful weapon, and I am more than happy to pray along with you and for you. Just leave your name, God knows the rest. The enemy won't win no matter how hard he tries to stop you, never give up. Never waver on what God says. He will complete what he starts. Have a blessed day..
