never again

1) never again will I say "I can't" because I can do all things through Christ Jesus - philippians 4:13

2) never again will I say "I don't have" because my God shall supply all my needs according to his riches - philippians 4:19

3) never again will I say "I am afraid" because God has not given me a spirit of cowardice but a spirit of power - 2 Timothy 1:7

4) never again will I say "I lack faith" because God has given to every man a measure of faith - Romans 12:3

5) never again will I say "I am weak" because the Lord is the strength of my life - psalm 27:1

6) never again will I say "Satan is powerful" because greater is the God that is in me than the evil in the world - 1 John 4:4

7) never again will I say "I am defeated" because we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus - Romans 8:37

8) never again will I say "I lack wisdom" because Christ has become for us the wisdom of God - 1 Corinthians 1:30

9) never again will I say "I am sick" because through his stripes we are healed - Isaiah 53:5

10) never again will I say "I am burdened" because I cast all my burdens upon Jesus who cares for me 1 Peter 5:7

11) never again will I say "I am in bondage" because where the spirit of the lord is there is freedom - 2 Corinthians 3:17

12) never again will I say "I am condemned" because there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus - Romans 8:1

Unbroken promise

 Hi everyone I know it's been a while since my last blog entry, you see God has taken me and my family through quite the rollercoaster. For a while I had writers block. I had no idea what to say but tonight while trying to sleep, I had a overwhelming sense to talk about the promises of God. I'm not going to start talking about the promises written in the bible all though each one is valid, beautiful and true on their own. What's on my heart are the unsung promises. You know, those you've been waiting for so long to come to pass. The ones where you could so easily just give up on. Them ones. Hallelujah.  Let me take you on the journey we've just had, and in fact we are still going through because the process isn't over. But the giant, daunting hurdle that was the be all or end all in the process, that's done and dusted. Being a Christian can be hard work at times wouldn't you agree? There are times you think what's the point. Times of pure enjoyment. Times of frustration. Even times where you question if God is real. We all go through these periods in our life. And all of it is because of the spiritual battle that goes on every day of our life. The holy spirit; working on building us up, showing us how God sees us and wants to work through us. As well as the enemy trying to destroy us, by means of society, what we read, what we watch, other peoples opinions. All to make us feel useless, hopeless and a waste of space. All this so we don't reach our potential in christ. Exhausting right. No where in the bible does it say be perfect or your doomed. God knows we will struggle, stumble, fall short. It's eternity not just sundays

  Have you ever built a lego sculpture? I have, in fact I did recently. A titanic ship and a army war plane. I fully enjoyed this activity and would go as far as saying it's becoming a hobby. But I haven't done this post to talk about Lego, although it is how God chose to get a message across to me.  You see, building a Lego sculpture requires a lot of Lego bricks. From tiny squares to long rectangular one. All shapes and sizes are involved in the making of a beautiful masterpiece. The end result is very rewarding. Each intricate detail that are put together, every block, every pain staking moment getting the tiny delicate pieces together without accidentally breaking the whole thing; requires time, patience and effort. God is the builder in our lives. When we invite him into our lives he works with us, building on a new foundation that is in Christ Jesus.
