the teachers always quiet during a test


Ever feel like God is a million miles away?

Maybe in life you've come across times where trials, challenges and obstacles that make you feel like you are surrounded by a pack of wolves or even a pride of lions. And physically there looks to be no way out. You feel alone, weighed down, feel like there's nothing you can do to make it stop. Or maybe you've been put in trial of court for your faith. Maybe even jailed. I don't know what you've faced for your faith in Jesus. Many people will be used to stop, silence and maybe kill you if it means the devil will succeed in erasing the Christian faith. Although they don't know they are being used by our enemy. Don't let them silence you in sharing what jesus has done in and through you, your testimony is one of the greatest weapons. It gives people goals, a hope that if you can make it through so can they. Let's look at Job in the bible, he like you and me was an ordinary person just getting on with his life. God admired his faith and saw him as righteous. God had full confidence in him. But the devil he wanted to prove God wrong and put Job on trial. he was so convinced that through the tests he had in store, Job would crumble and curse God. God having full faith in Job allowed such tested to go on. On one condition that he did not kill Job. So the devil struck him with illness, diseases, killed his live stock and his own family. But still Job remained faithful through his pain. Though God felt a million miles away Job knew in his heart that God had a reason for all those unfortunate events taking place in his life. And because he passed the test, the devil had no option but to flee, and Job was blessed more than he could ever imagined. Everything the devil stole was restored and more. Praise God. I'm not sure if we'll ever experience tests to that degree, but we will get our fare share because the enemy will not stop trying. And the annoying thing is, is he likes to use those close and dear to us. But don't give up hope, Don't give in. Our teacher has not forsaken us. He has full confidence in us. And even if we do fail, Jesus is very patient, and he loves us. The bible says submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee. James 4 verse 7.
Its not always easy when hard times come. But God's word will never return void. It is true yesterday today and forever. The devil will eventually get the hint and flee from you. Don't underestimate yourself or the ability of christ. Nothing can come to or through your life without the permission of our God and his word says he only gives us what we can handle. “God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength but with your testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13) So what you face, may look like a mountain, but get your sling shot and pebbles ready, for the army of God will fight your corner. For greater is he that lives in me than he that lives in this world. Praise God. 

GODS NOT DEAD HE'S SURELY ALIVE!!

Lord we don't always see the bigger picture in our life. And there may be times when the attack from the enemy is so surreal. But you parted waters, you brought forth water out of rocks in the desert, you killed a giant, you set the captives free, You brought down the walls of Jericho. And many many more wonderful things written in the bible. Just because we are in modern day society doesn't mean you won't do wonderful things like that again. Father help us stand strong through these attacks knowing that whatever happens the end result is your best for our lives. fill us oh Lord with your greatness. and give us the wisdom and confidences that you are greater than anything the enemy can throw our way. in Jesus name amen

Unbroken promise

 Hi everyone I know it's been a while since my last blog entry, you see God has taken me and my family through quite the rollercoaster. For a while I had writers block. I had no idea what to say but tonight while trying to sleep, I had a overwhelming sense to talk about the promises of God. Being a Christian can be hard work at times wouldn't you agree? There are times you think what's the point. Times of pure enjoyment. Times of frustration. Even times where you question if God is real. We all go through these periods in our life. And all of it is because of the spiritual battle that goes on every day of our life. The holy spirit; working on building us up, showing us how God sees us and wants to work through us. As well as the enemy trying to destroy us, by means of society, what we read, what we watch, other peoples opinions. All to make us feel useless, hopeless and a waste of space. All this so we don't reach our potential in christ. Exhausting right. No where in the bible does it say be perfect or your doomed. God knows we will struggle, stumble, fall short. It's eternity not just sundays

  Have you ever built a lego sculpture? I have, in fact I did recently. A titanic ship and a army war plane. I fully enjoyed this activity and would go as far as saying it's becoming a hobby. But I haven't done this post to talk about Lego, although it is how God chose to get a message across to me.  You see, building a Lego sculpture requires a lot of Lego bricks. From tiny squares to long rectangular one. All shapes and sizes are involved in the making of a beautiful masterpiece. The end result is very rewarding. Each intricate detail that are put together, every block, every pain staking moment getting the tiny delicate pieces together without accidentally breaking the whole thing; requires time, patience and effort. God is the builder in our lives. When we invite him into our lives he works with us, building on a new foundation that is in Christ Jesus.
